It's just not that Soria has allowed the other team to score in 11 of 35 high pressure appearances. He is giving up multiple runs. Only 4 of those 11 times did he only allow 1 run (36% of the time)
For comparison in the last 3 years, Wade and Herrera have allowed 1 run 73% of the time they allow our Opp to score off of them.

Bullpens are gonna give up runs. Even our stud relievers have given up runs over this 3 year run.
2nd half of the year, we have had relievers give up runs late in a tie game or with us having the lead, and we never recovered and were saddled with a loss. In 14'-15' we did a better job overcoming a run given up late by the Pen and still got the win.

51 games since AS break. 11 times listed below, we lost all of these...

Soria 5 times. I mentioned them in a prior text yesterday
Herrera 2 times. He gave a solo HR in a 3-3 game in 9th. He gave up 3 run HR in 10th in 4-4 game
Hoch 2 times. He gave up 3 runs in 8th with a 2-1 lead. He gave up 1 run in 7th in 1-1 game
Wade 1 time. Gave up 2 runs in 9th with a 5-4 lead
Pounders 1 time. Gave up walk off HR in a tie game.

The last 5 losses have deflated my confidence in any shot at the playoffs. If we win 3 of those I'm still feeling okay right now, but the crappy July eliminated any margin for error and the past 9 days and our suddenly suspect bullpen just crushed what small margin was left.

I don't think it's a good chance, not even 20%......But I do think there is a chance.
I might feel different if we were playing bad ball, getting Outscored by 4-5 runs in each of these 5 recent losses. If the bullpen wasn't uncharacteristicly bad of late, we might have won 3 of those 5 close games, meaning we would be on a 24-6 stretch since Aug 6.
