If there is an easier remaining schedule in the MLB I'd be shocked.  Rays sold off some good pieces, A's are gutted, Yankees Gutted, like 25 against twins/sox and then you finish the season with several games against the team you need to catch.

We can't score any runs, man

Duffy had 35 swing and misses tonight.  He and Kershaw are the only 2 to do that in last 15 years

I only got to catch the 7th/8th innings.  Tremendous job Duff.

Yea it's a damn shame.  Even if we could we still basically forfeit 20% of our games with no viable option at the 5th rotation spot.

We'd have to go roughly 41-16 in our remaining games to have a chance.  There's just no way.

Hey Dayton, I would probably recommend signing this guy to a long term deal.

it's too late now.  they need to trade him before he's hurt.

September will be fun. We won't be NATIONALLY relevant but maybe Hunter or Bubba makes their debut!  :driving: A Vargas comeback start?  :Wha: Maybe Alex has a good month and gives us hope for him having a bounce back year next year!  :gocho: Cain could hit for the cycle in a game!  A Duffy no-hitter!  :cheese: Really anything is possible guys!

A Duffy franchise record will have to do.

he always has been. it is very easy to lose your way, from time to time, in this little game we call life. i am glad he is no longer lost.

he's always been a gigantic stud at life and he'd always have some gigantic stud games at baseball, but he's been super consistent (at baseball) this year, which is a little new.

this is a fair point. baseball and life are two separate games. glad that dick duff's studliness in one game is starting to translate to consistent studliness in the less important one. dick duff is a man with his priorities in order, it seems.
