1) we scored 4 runs in the series
2) we gave up 4 Homers

1) 3.18 runs per game on road is MLB worst
No AL team is below 3.70, one NL Team is below 3.50
2) We have allowed a AL worst 57 HRs in 38 road games (1.5 per game)

It's getting old, but shouldn't be surprising.

nah not at all. he has a 3.0 ERA, and that HR today was a good pitch.

i think they don't have the same hunger as they have in the past couple years. they bend over to teams which are less than they are.
it makes me angry. while we have been beset with injuries this season, i don't use that as an exbruce. it would be easy to say it's pitching but the reality is our offense is pudcity usa, population: the royals

First 4 innings - 31.0 Inn 5 ER
5th inning On -- 9.2 Inn 11 ER

He can't be this terrible when seeing the lineup for a 3rd time.
He has also allowed 9 HRs last 28.0 Inn

I think a lot of that has to do with going into the season as a reliever.

I remember last year my dumb person barometer was based on their opinion of Cueto and the Cueto trade.

dick duffy has never been good later in the games. who knows if it's fatigue or the batters start to see him better. just don't try to make him something he isn't - take the stud early innings he can give you and try to get him out before you run into the crappy late innings.

the idea that every pitcher should either be good for 6-8 innings or is only good for 1 inning is kind of ridiculous.

he was in the 5th when he was relieved today sys. 5 innings is not unreasonable
