They've somehow endured 52 years of losing, so probably.

starting pitching isn't as important as it seems, i understand that.  still, these are some scary rough ridin' pitching matchups.  gotta hope to miracle a win out of the first two and then hope kennedy and big chris youngsie can bring home the last two.

I decided yesterday that it is stupid the Royals aren't selling an Esky-Bear.  I would totally buy them for my nephews.

Why Zarda hasn't sold an Esky-Bar at games is silly.  They are leaving money on the table.

just listening, but per the cleveland announcer, pretty shitty defense from ventura and fuentes already.  need more dysons, smdh.

More fuentes than ventura

ventura didn't try to tag a runner when he should have thrown to first, missed that tag and then didn't throw to first even though he still had time to do so?

also, lol @ gg first baseman.

He missed the tag but absolutely did not have time to throw once he missed. He gambled by going for the tag and lost, but it looked like he had a good chance at the time.
Fuentes F'd up by not hitting cutoff man when there was zero chance of a play at the plate. It allowed runners to advance

hmm.  assuming it would have been fairly to routine to toss to first instead of trying the tag, that's still worse than missing the cutoff, imo.  but it sounds like hosmer now has reclaimed the crown.

it probably doesn't matter.  ventura is either injured or just isn't a good pitcher.  maybe both.

Hos and Esky are both good defensively and deserved GG last year.  This year they have made too many errors and not enough "GG type routine plays"

1 unearned run because Of a bad throw and a hard hit ball a GG 1st baseman knocks down.  That is 3 plays in 2 nights Hos could have made.  Should have made 2 of 3 for sure.
