hmm. assuming it would have been fairly to routine to toss to first instead of trying the tag, that's still worse than missing the cutoff, imo. but it sounds like hosmer now has reclaimed the crown.

The overthrow or fail to realize he should hit cutoff was just bad. Ventura just needs to make the short toss. It's an easy throw, and a higher % play than trying to sprint and tag a runner. Luckily for us, Ace bared down and got 3 out with 2 on, so they didn't score any runs off those 2 blunders

So glad Lindor didn't knock down that Dyson ball. Him playing up the middle more cost him after he took away 2 potential hits earlier. If he knocks it down, it's likely bases loaded and we don't score.

7 singles 1 HR and a helpful error thru 4 innings only equaling 2 runs would have stunk. Could be a very important run by the end of the game

Hoch is fresh, but be curious if Herrera or Soria would throw tonight.
