i don't think we will win 88 games for the record unless the roster somehow changes or Kendrys/Escobar/Infante start producing more at the plate

Have you ever picked up a baseball? Imagine that thing flying by you at 100 mph or being hit on a come backer or diving for it and running into a wall or throwing it a bunch of times until your arm wants to fall off, because bodies aren't made to throw over a 100 pitches every 5 days as hard as you can or as junky as you can, etc.

i mean not to go wacky here but baseball is more attrition than most people think, its why i quit playing. from the time you are 13ish playing babe ruth/legion/starting high school/legion/fall ball/spring ball/back into high school......it really really is tiring and will break your body down. that doesnt even include traveling teams/college/minors/wooden bat leagues that most of these guys have gone through
