I had a teammate get hit by the pitcher 4 times in a game and then he charged the mound. The pitcher stepped down the hill and knocked him the eff out with one punch. He couldn't open that eye for weeks.

had a teammate get hit in the nuts while pitching in practice with no cup on.. It sounded like a large rock hitting the water when he got nailed.
We nicknamed him squirrels after that

I've seen hockey players get hit in the face with a puck, go get stitches and be back on the ice with only like 5 minutes of game time missed.

Guy gets a baseball to the face and he gets a 2 month cushy vacation. Smdh

I don't know which part took longer, the surgery, where I had baseball laces implanted on my face or the mental game it took me to feel comfortable in the batters box again.
