The NL overall should be pretty fun Chings. The NL west could be a fantastic division with the improvements the Dbacks and Giants made. The Mets though should go on a self imposed face punching fest if they can't win that crap division. Who else is gonna be good in the NL east? The Nationals maybe?

Dyson  :frown:

Dyson's injury today, preliminarily diagnosed as an oblique strain could, as the Royals admit, keep him out for at least several weeks.

Read something yesterday that said the average time out of all oblique injuries last year was around the 50 game mark.

So he should be back sometime late April/early May?

That's the problem, there's no timeline for this type of injury.  I think the lowest was around 20 games, highest around 85-90.  They said there's no way to "test" it to see if he's progressing.  It's basically sit 'em out for awhile and hope it heals and then send it back out there and hope it doesn't re-injure.

Brett Eibner have a chance to make the opening day roster now?  Or maybe even Bubba?

Ned said Bubba has a good a chance as anyone.   But Ned says a lot of stuff in interviews.

Bubba will probably stay in AAA. He needs to be getting reps everyday.

Agreed.  I don't see any reason why Paulo won't be everyday there till Dyson comes back.

Gore  :excited:

I love Gore, but they'll likely want more power than he has. He's never hit a homer in professional baseball. Of course, we all know he's likely the most phenomenal base runner in pro ball at any level...that's why they'll continue to put him on post-season rosters.
