If I were David Glass, I'd let Gordon walk, and offer a 7 year, 160 million dollar deal to Hosmer right now, just to see what he'd say

if we signed him for 7 years, the first thing i would do is move him to left field

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

 :Take the Bait:
I was just thinking about how much fun the past 2 seasons have been

Me too. Can't imagine more fun ever from anything

I really can't think of what would be a better 2 years as a fan of a team, when you combine the previous 29 years of no postseason. Wow.

Yes. Exactly this. I mean it's one thing to win the World Series. Somebody does that every year. But we did it after falling one run short in Game Seven the year before. This is the stuff of Hollywood.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I genuinely dislike anyone who had fun at the parade.

this is going to be a scar on your interactions with your grandchildren. I was at that parade. let me tell you about that parade

meanwhile normal grandfathers are re-telling tales of how the current bench coach Jonny Gomes was a complete stud at the parade and everyone was partying.

ben ji and his buds had a great time at the parade. Do you know why?

Its called planning ahead.

1. Avoid the shuttles
2. Avoid the shuttle drop off points (Union Station)
3. Avoid I-35 because this is the only way mommy bloggers in JOCO know how to get downtown.

I left NE JOCO at 10am and took 63rd street to Paseo, took Paseo towards crown center and parked immediately on a side street around 25th and vine. I correctly predicted that no one would take this route because OMG THATS THE GHETTO.

Walked over to 17th and grand and snagged a perfect spot about 3 deep. After fist pumping my arm off for the parade we stopped by double shift to have a couple beers, watch the rally, and let people clear out.

By the time we left around 4pm (Back down Paseo) there was very little traffic.

last year they offered 20 game packs. right now, they're only offering full or half to new customers. Not sure if they'll open up 20s again to new folks or not. I'm hoping they don't make my 20 go up to a 41 in order for me to renew.

I was in 240, which was field plaza level. I wanna say they were like $34 a game, so $680 per ticket. I had 2. Cool thing was that this year selling was easy, and I bet next year will too if you sell early enough. I sold my 4th of July's for like $85 per ticket, a Cards game for $105 per ticket etc. I ended up going to other games outside my ticket package too. Was pretty great. I mean, I sold my Game 1 World Series tickets for enough to cover almost all the other postseason games, then bought a standing room ticket at 5:00 that day when it was raining for $170. Really great to be CF3 at the K in 2015.

If they open up 20 game packs, and allow you to buy an opening day ticket, you could sell your opening day ticket for probably $200 or more if you sell it when the market peaks. Opening day 2016 will probably be the biggest Royals regular season watched game OAT and people will want to go for the ceremony
