The Royals attendance went up by 752,000 this year.  How much more $$ vfom just many more tickets sold does that give GMDM to spend?
He'll have some, but they made a really good point the other day. Some of the post season $ made, goes towards arbitration payouts. So i'm not sure what we're looking at there.

Probably about $16-$20M in arb raises
:adios:

mocat you wanna talk about some of the great moments of Royals playoff ball?

I'll go first: Down 1 game to 0 against Houston in the ALDS, the Royals were down early, but had the first of their many ferocious comebacks this playoff season. Up 1 in the 9th, tying run on, Wade Davis picks the runner off 1st base and the crowd went absolutely nuts.

yeah that was amazing. that game is the only playoff game i went to (in my entire life), and it was a beaut.

one consistent thing the royals have done in the last couple years is make you believe they are going to win, if the game is tied late. i mean alcides hit that triple http://baseballsavant.com/popup/video.php?video_id=520919983 to lead off the 7th, and everybody knew the game was over, even though it was still tied 4-4 with lots of baseball left. i mean everybody knew it. i love this team for a lot of reasons, but that is one of the biggest.

Please don't go to Houston Alex. I can survive you leaving, but I don't know what I'd do if that Houston humidity warped your face and caused your ass to start drooping

Thinking about the 2016 team without Alex Gordon makes me really sad.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

i'm kinda getting excited about the idea of replacing gordon with span and rios with dyson/platoon player x.  three centerfielders in the outfield would be fun.
