Why do we have to play NL rules?  It's so stupid.  I mean its like if the Eastern Conference played without a 3 point line.  Sorry Steph Curry but this Finals game is in Cleveland so no 3's.  That's basically the equivalent.

Oh my word. Really broad range of posts tonight. I'll address a few things:

1. Chings, Royals fans might be white, but we look like one hell of a melting pot compared to Cards fans.
2. I liked bringing in Duffy when we did, and it worked. Its just unfortunate the 9 spot was up next. The thing to do was put in Orlando or Dyson there when you bring in Duffy, and take out Rios. Then the next inning leads off with Dyson or Orlando and you still have one of those guys to PR if you need it in the 9th or whatever if the game is close. IF you don't double switch AND take out Duffy, I don't like the Mondesi move. I don't hate it, but I'd use Dyson there. If Dyson gets on, you can create a run with Escobar/Zobrist. Save Morales and hope there's a spot with runners on.
3. The Morales play, was terrible. No doubt. Use your instinct and get the DP. If you get the out at 2nd, and Granderson reaches and the run scores, so be it. Go to 2nd. Sheesh.
4. The only move I hated, was bringing in Herrera. He's so much better with a clean inning, and the game was getting away man. Let Morales fall on the sword and regroup tomorrow.

Also, I mean, the Mets are good. They won the NL. They have good players. They jumped on a couple big mistakes from Yordano, and Syndergard should be credited with battling and settling in. He was really good innings 3-6, and he came through in the Rios AB with the bases loaded. He walked Gordon, gets Rios. He's good.

All that being said, we'll win this thing in 5 games, 6 at the most.

So laughable that they don't just have each side play by their league's rules

We'll be fine. The Royals are the better team. They still have the advantage. The Mets have to win 3, Royals just 2. Each team has 2 home games.

I have no problem with Syndergard's pitch FYI. It wasn't going to hit him. Royals need to focus on baseball

I mean, with all that happened, the Royals win if Yordano pitches well. He failed tonight. I love him, but we needed a better start

Throwing baseballs at people's heads because they have been hitting well is not ok cf3

It wasn't that close to his head. I don't think he was trying to, or very close, to hitting him

Every team should just start throwing at every batters head from now on, seems like that's what the fans want

Let me put it this way, it didn't matter. He tried to upset the Royals, then we scored 3 runs in the first 2 innings. By the time he was shutting KC down that pitch was ancient history.

I don't really even like throwing at someone in retaliation for whatever, but throwing at someone for hitting well is one of baseball's worst aspects

baseball players throw baseballs at each other. soccer players lay on the ground like they died then hop up a second later and are fine. football players hit women. All sports have dumb things lib.

Throwing at someone above the shoulders is never okay, you miss and the results can be pretty catastrophic for the batter. It may not have affected the game, but to lib's point, who cares? It's way too dangerous to even consider, there's a reason Herrera got suspended for it earlier this season.
