Guys, the Mets worked really hard for those two losses. 23 innings, their two best pitchers, about a dozen relievers have already seen action? Even coming home that's gotta be a little demoralizing.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I'm paraphrasing, but I think my favorite part of the call tonight was "You just can't get to sleep with the Royals. They're like that leaking faucet in the hotel bathroom. Drip. Drip. Drip. It's annoying!!!"

Yea, that was a pretty great one

Guys, our worst starter just shut out the Mets for three innings yesterday. This may very well end up being a sweep.

Then I guess I need to make an appointment to treat my depression.  I am not a fan of listening to him.  I am sure he must be a great guy irl, but I can only listen to him for a little bit at a time.

I keep finding these local ads I've never seen. Salvy & Kelvin for Game Room Concepts. In really bad generic jerseys.

Was it Verducci? He was really playing that one up. The drip drip drip was very dramatic.

So this is kind of a mumped up thing.

100% correlation in the playoffs thus far...if I eat authentic Mexican tacos, the Royals win.  If I eat a Chipotle burrito, the Royals win a close one.  And if neither is eaten, they lose.

Everyone, the Mets now have to win 4 out of the remaining 5 games. The Royals have to win 2 of the next 5.

I like our update because it seems like we will win probably but I like the mets update even more because it seems like they'll for sure lose.

Sorry if luked, but has it been mentioned that arguably our two most dynamic pitchers are slated for Games 3 and 4? And our bullpen is extra rested thanks to Johnny Complet-o? I like our chances to win at least 1 of the next 2.

it is so great and hilarious that we are playing the mets (the mets!) in the world series. they can't score, but managed to get through the DS and CS because one player was super hot. that is almost a perfect recipe for the royals because there was no way westboro baptist murphy was going to still be hot after 5 days off. so now the entire mets offense is back to normal complete garbage. this is maybe the easiest world series ever
