So are royals fans already getting spoiled? Ticket prices are dropping like a rock on stubhub and when I've asked some fans I've heard they are just waiting for the world series to go to the K.

The only thing left on the official site is random seats that got returned for some dumb reason.... But the prices dropping surprises me on stubhub. People aren't that excited to go see Ventura beat these dorks like a drum

mocat you could also put in Dyson for Rios or Gordon if Gore runs for him! Dyson's a better defensive OF than Orlando. So say we PR Gore and go up 1 in the 7th or 8th and Rios or Gordon has exited, you use Dyson. If we're tied or still behind, you use Orlando so Dyson could PR later.

i don't think yost would ever use both of his speed bullets on a single pr.  in the case of a rios or gordon pr (i'm not at all convinced he would ever pr for gordon), he would just use dyson to pr and save his gore option.

I bet if we need a run, he'll run for Gordon. Gordon's slow now.

Guys imagine it.

We're tied at 3 going into the 9th. Salvador Perez hits a single to start the inning, Gore PRs. Gore steals 2nd, Alex Gordon hits a booming double to Right Center and Gore crosses homeplate before they can even reach the ball in the outfield. Walk off win. We all party.

the fantasy goes more like:  gore pr, steals 2nd, steals 3rd.  now one out and the batter hits a shallow pop fly to the of.  no one else in baseball would tag on it, but gore does and scores.  royals win game 3 and sweep.

You know, if Alex Gordon doubles and we need a run to go ahead or something, Yost should PR Orlando. Save Gore for PR'ing on 1st only.

i mean, did the angels or orioles even get a hit last year in the playoffs? felt like they did not

rios would have run straight at that ball making it impossible for cain to safely dive for it.  at the last second rios would have pulled off with that thing he does where he turns his face and closes his eyes and hopes nothing hurts him.
