the commentators were right to focus on the pitching.  the royals had several hard hit balls that went to defenders as well as several good plays and one amazing defensive play that took hits away.  the hitting performance, as opposed to the hitting results, wasn't that bad.

the pitching was the opposite.

Made the conscious decision to not watch or even follow the game last night. It sounds like I missed a rerun of the past 4 weeks: Subpar starting pitching, lots of runners LOB, solo HRs, and late inning runs given up by garbage relievers. Did I leave anything out?

Lots of great jabs from known stud Ryan about Chicago's attendance

My favorite was the "Chicago fans are cheering...all 17 of them". Then they showed an empty section of bleachers with two people in the whole area.

I'm guessing at least $100 per for upper deck.

Our SP giving us 6 innings of 3 run ball should be enough for us to win IMO.

yuck. best seats I could get with 2 seats together was section 411. If I don't go I'll post them here for first come first serve. $101 each. Royals.

Apparently whitesox fans are complete dogshit.

They were nicer to Royals fans than Cub fans...of course there were like 15 White Sox fans at the game last night.
