Those are interesting stats, mocat. Let's go a step further and look at how our Royals have done against the teams currently in the playoffs: 15-23The only playoff team we have a winning record against is Pittsburgh (2-1).Last year KC was 25-24 against the playoff teams, including 19-11 vs everyone but Detroit.
to be even more specificthe Royals are 35-9 vs:angelsraysredsbrewersa'swhite soxand 55-57 vs everyone else
we played the angels last year. it'd be boring to play them again. i want to play new teams.
if we swept the angels again i would still have to change my underwear several times per game and i would still pace a lot and tell everyone to quiet down because i can't hear what they're saying on TV

I hear they're considering extensions for Hosmer and Cain. Nothing definitive, just considering at this point.

Nothing definitive, just considering at this point.they have to non-tender him, there's no other option. but do they non-tender him and bid him adieu, or do they non-tender him and then offer him a multi-year contract that includes his rehab time, like they did hoch and medlen?
