I read 3 pages and I really got the sense that our dicks were literally out, not figuratively they way it kind of feels right now.

If I have extras I'll let you bros know. I didn't get to go last year either :(

I wonder what they'll be charging this year?

I think goEMAW peaked in December 2011 (arkansas) but I peaked in June 2014.

Lots of good choices, still trying to decide. I tend to lean Nike though.

I'm staying with my rules from last year. No gear buying until it says world series or AL pennant Champs.

A good rule, but a division title shirt is worthy of purchase and should be included in your rule. JMHO.

a lot of positives came out of last night.

1 - Ventura is in postseason form
2 - Zobrist is an actual IRL human being and not a robpot
3 - Madson hit 98 mph
4 - Almonte and sys will not be on the playoff roster
5 - Venturreravardson combo: 10 IP, 3 H, 1 BB, 10 K, 0 ER i mean holy mercy

i was very encouraged by how great ventura and the bullpen pitched last night.  i've changed my mind on almonte.  leave him and morales both off.  if you have to use either you're probably losing, so why even bother having them available.  instead, put on another pinch hitter so that c43 and yostsie feel more comfortable using gore earlier.

to be even more specific

the Royals are 35-9 vs:

angels
rays
reds
brewers
a's
white sox

and 55-57 vs everyone else  :frown:

why in the world would you think that's a troll take?

that's the way the schedule is set up for pitching on normal rest.  game 5 you could either pitch the game 1 starter on 5 days rest or the game 2 on normal rest.  so i don't see any valid reason to eff up the everyone's schedules to move cueto to game 1.  especially since he'd have to skip his last start to do so.  i'd much rather see him pitch twice in the regular season and use both starts to let him get back into form/continue to evaluate if he sucks.

because you throw your best pitcher in game 1 to get momentum and go a game up in the series. if he gets an extra days rest then oh well. the regular season doesnt matter. ned doesnt care about home field and i really dont either. still gotta get wins and cueto is our best chance of winning game 1 against whoever we play.

welp. sorry, sys. you were right.

Those are interesting stats, mocat. Let's go a step further and look at how our Royals have done against the teams currently in the playoffs: 15-23

The only playoff team we have a winning record against is Pittsburgh (2-1).

Last year KC was 25-24 against the playoff teams, including 19-11 vs everyone but Detroit.

welp. sorry, sys. you were right.

they had it lined up for cueto to start game 1 until the baltimore series, when they switched them so ventura would be.  the tea leaves were pretty easy to read.
