Just listened to Dayton on 810. His basic stance on everything is "I believe in these guys". Its infuriating to be close to being good but not able to compete for a division or a pennant

Was at the Future's Game at the K yesterday.Mike Montgomery is a star. Hosmer looks like a Gold Glover at 1st. And Myers looked fairly smooth in RF considering he just moved from catcher. Looked much better than Teahen did a couple years back. Moose has a great arm at 3rd, should help make up for a lack of range. Duffy was pretty good too, dialed it up to 95 a few times and got Myers looking at strike 3 on a breaking pitch. The Royals are actually going to be good.
I'm done until they get within 1 game of a playoff spot, or make a move to improve the team. I've given them plenty this year. This thread is fine without me.
