ok, defend your position.  why is esky getting caught at twice the rate he was in previous years?

I'm not completely sure, but probably something to do with when he bats now combined with opponents adjusting to his stealing. He has exclusively batted 1st this year. Before that he mostly batted 8th/9th and sometimes 2nd. He didn't move to 1st until mid-September last year.

I think that was a hit back to the pitcher. He threw to second but the short stop and second baseman weren't communicating.  I could be wrong though.

I was irritated, but not surprised. Sticking too long with his starter is one of Ned's worst flaws.
