And they won't be able to tuck Young away on the  DL.

why?

Takes an actual injury. "Tired" doesn't qualify. MLB polices this pretty closely. (Unfortunately, he is looking tired).
Shoulder fatigue is a common DL injury. Let's just say he has that. :dunno:

Yeah. Soreness is another one. Young looks sore to me.

he complained of back tightness after his last start.  i think if he's agreeable, they could stash him there.  who's going to argue with a back injury?

we should trade starling for like anyone. hes never going to produce at the big league level, too far behind in baseball experience.

Strange thing to say about a 22 year old having a pretty solid year in AA.

because we are hugs nerds.

for years and years I would pay way more attention to MiLB than MLB.
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

Baseball is the only sport in season right now so it's easier to follow twice as much of it. July/August is the prime time to follow MiLB and future stud Royals.

We have so much at the major league level so let's count up how much total wealth in all parts of the organization.

It's like a super rich person having a badass mansion and then a handful of million dollar condos scattered all over the place that they visit for like 2 or 3 days a year. :kstategrad:

Following Royals Minor leaguers is the only thing I could do as a kid. They've been prepping for the future since the day I was born.

WRC+ of 110 puts him above average. K% is down, ISO is up while playing at a higher level. I don't think he looks like a star, but he could be productive. He'll likely make his ML debut next year or the year after.

I would be surprised if this rumor was true - mainly because it is to stupid.

hey guys, we know you were willing to accept one of our worst, most-overrated prospects, but he's injured.  So to compensate, we'll give you one of our best left-handed pitching prospects.  we all square?

Dude just turned 22 a little bit ago.  Think the jury is still out on what he will become regardless of the year he is having.

6 pack says he doesnt make a 25-man by the end of 2017.

Just for reference, Lorenzo Cain had little baseball experience when he was in the minors. He also struggled quite a bit when he was in the Brewers system, so it's not impossible for Bubba to eventually be an all star caliber player.

for additional reference, LoCain played baseball for the first time as a So. in highschool - which is quite different than Starling.  Starling was a multi-year All-State baseball player with a fully scholly offer to Nebraska.  played bball his entire life.

lorenzo cain was also a minor league all-star and made his debut in the majors at the end of the season at age 24 on a team that was out of the playoff hunt. his numbers were better than starlings in the minors at the same age.

if starling stays with the royals theres absolutely no way he makes it to the majors in the next 2 years.  but... thats why we put our money where our mouth is.

I don't expect him to be the next Cain, just saying that it's possible as he isn't even 23 yet.

if I set the o/u on the number of people on this message board who have witnessed george brett and dayton moore argue about bubba's near and long term potential with the organization at some random house party in KC last winter at 0.5 what would you guys take?
