sending him is logical in the sense that they have more pitchers than they can keep and he's one of the few they can move off the 25 man without losing them.i dunno if it makes sense in terms of helping him get better. by his peripheral stats, he really hasn't pitched poorly. not very different than last year. but if the one poster is right that he's having trouble throwing his breaking pitch where he wants to, then it'd make sense to send him somewhere where he can just concentrate on his mechanics and not give a crap about whether he gets hit or not.
Yordano sent down

Royals rumored to be looking at a lot of players (Price, Cespedes, Ceuto, Jay oscar, Zobrist). Makes me think they won't make any moves.

I think it's more similar to the time Greinke got on anti-depressants and then turned his career around by becoming baseball's best pitcher.

Experience with SAD:Zack Greinke is a professional baseball player who has battled social anxiety disorder (SAD) and depression throughout his short career. In 2005, Greinke lost 17 games, deepening his depression and bouts of social anxiety and distancing himself from his fellow players.
