That seems really high. Are you suggesting we trade him?

Hell no.

ERA+ is  100*[lgERA/ERA] Adjusted to the player’s ballpark(s). The higher the ERA+, the more elite the pitcher is.

hoch is pitching nice.  that first walk should have been a strikeout.

Morales has been good out of the Pen and really good coming in the game in the middle of an inning, but that wild pitch looks costly right now.  They don't get that 3rd run if runners don't move up

Buehrle was good today, so ya, go out and win the series tomorrow

I know Finn has been pretty good this year, but for future games, I really don't want to see a guy who is our "#12/13 pitcher" in the 8th or 9th of a 1 run game.   Reason he had to is cause Ned didn't send Madson back out after throwing 4 pitches. Having Madson pitch the 8th and Hoch the 9th seemed more logical and smarter.

Hoch is pitching well now, so we have 6 relievers who are pretty trustworthy right now.

i don't see any reason why finnegan is in the majors currently.  he should be in aaa pitching every fifth day.  it's pretty stupid.

but what does that mean?
(The purpose of my "trade him?" response was to try to get clarity on ERA+. You have not yet given me that clarity.)

and rios quietly didn't eff anything up today.  it may be that he's finally decided not to suck, at least on offense.

Twins bombing Detroit.  Another crap game from their starter

Take out David Price and the Tigers Starting ERA is 5.07.   Their 2 new acquisitions, Simon and Greene started out good... But Greene is down in the minors after several bad starts, and Simon has now given up 30 ER in his last 5 starts and his ERA is up to 4.71

We are in great shape to win the division, but glad to see the Tigers pitching sucking cause they still got some talent and pop on offense

Kendrys Morales has 58 RBI so far this season. Billy Butler had 66 for the entire 2014 season. #RoyalUpgrade

Just thought I'd inject a little optimism after the loss today. And I like Billy Butler, even after his decline. Great guy.

Butler hate is weird and dumb.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Yes. And although Morales is certainly an improvement, as I pointed out and everyone knows, there are things to miss about Billy. His dedication, spirit, and the off the field contributions he made to KC, to name a few.

436 feet, that had to be one of the longest HR's of the season at the K.

Yeah, definitely stunting his development as a starter, which is pretty dumb cuz he's already in his twenties. Need to get that guy in a rotation somewhere and get him going. He's not getting any younger, and when you have a bullpen that has a gaggle of dudes that can blow people away with 100 mph heaters, then having a couple lefties in the pen is not near as important.
