The difference in this game is night and day since the boys found out Alex is ok.

Dyson's double play was huge for killing their rally and getting momentum back.

When that was happening I thought the pitcher was going to cut the throw off. Just how it looked during the play.

I'm guessing you mean Cuthbert (I think that's who was the cut man at least). But he acts like he may cut that off to keep the other runners from advancing.

How is bitb going to handle this one? after calling escobar a pussy after the lowrie incident, and saying you'd never see Alex do something like that for a non major injury ...

Yes, you are right.  I just took his fake as his real intent.

I don't care if we win this game or not. A groin strain and not a knee tear is the best news of the night.

Most definitely. Now if it's a severe groin strain, which is grade 3 strain, he could still be out for some time.  Normally at least 6-8 weeks.   If he avoided that and just has a grade 2 strain, then the timetable for how long he is out could just be a few weeks.    Lets just hope for the best now that they have said the knee isn't the issue

i didn't see the play, so i didn't have the moment of thinking he was going to die.  but a groin strain is nothing to celebrate.

As a fitness trainer myself, I will take the word of what most sports therapists will say over Buster  Olney just talking about other peoples injuries, when he has no idea of the severity of the Gordo injury yet
