Went to the DVR this morning to watch the 9th.  You could tell that kid was so nervous from the time in the dugout waiting to PR...I still can't figure out what he was thinking stopping.

Can we talk Kendrys? How many games has this stud won us?

Leads the AL with 29 hits with RISP.
His averge with RISP is .349 and with runners on base his ave is about the same, an impressive .352
Leads us with 51 RBI and 31 Xbase hits
I think he has more big hits (hits that give us a lead or tie the ball game) than any other Royal

it's crazy how much i like morales.  i mostly only like fast players, but also morales, who is slow.

Hud loves talking about how not-slow Kendrys is. He has 5 infield hits this year!

Ok, I think the Joe Blanton Experience needs to end.

Ok, I think the Joe Blanton Experience needs to end.

he's getting killed.  against houston, it sounded like he pitched into a pretty tight strike zone, but was actually not throwing so bad.  today, he's getting hammered.

6 base runners in 3 innings and no runs. Its a grind to even think about getting a 2 run inning

What Blanton is doing really doesn't matter when the offense is this terrible. 1 run or 4 runs is pretty much the same.

You want to repeat that??

Our offense sucked last night but Guts and Pen did their job

Blanton last 40 batters faced... 18 have reached (14 via hit), 22 outs.  That's a .450 on base and .389 average allowed.

Hou has good hitters. Minn not that great and they are hammering his fastball.

Damn. Hos needs to break out of his funk. Just 2 Xtra base hits and 7 RBI last 93 ABs. That spans just over 1 month

1 run game in the 7th... A little surprised Yost didn't yank Finn for Herrera once lead off guy reached. Just seemed like that is the "Yost thing to do" and whatever reason he didn't. Hope than run there isn't costly

JFC. Tailor made DP ball after we get lead off guy on.  And of course the next batter reaches.

It's like watching the 1st half 2014 Royals all over again.

Then Hos can't take 1 lousy pitch to let Cain steal. Hits a effing dribbler to Dozier.

I ragged on Hos.  Next up Gordon.

1 RBI, 1 Xtra base hit last 16 games.  Even Rios, who hasn't done much, has at least has 4 RBI in last 17 games.

Hos/Gordo need to start playing "All-Star caliber" here again..... And soon

So Blanton vs Sea was a Mirage I guess.  He is a bad version of Guts.

Guts had 14 of 32 starts last year be not good (4ER or more) and 6 of 16 starts this year. Almost all of his other are good/quality starts

Blanton 2 bad starts. 2 good starts.   And u pitched all of 7.2 in your 2 bad starts.

If he starts again. I'm pissed.  Bring back Ventura or find another solution.

posse stat of the night.....

This series vs Twins------

Cain 6-11
Everyone else 17-89

RISP, Cain 2-4
RISP, everyone else 2-23

That's .191 and .086 with RISP if your name isn't Cain.  Against a Twins team that had lost 16 of 25 coming in here

Guys, I have to drive to the game today. My sister and her family are Twins fans. I have a hangover. Ugh. I need a pep talk.
