i am glad that yost pulled volkie and decided to give the team a chance to win today instead of trotting him back out to save the pen or whatever crazy reason he'd have had for trotting him out for the fourth.

Luke Hochevar would automatically be the coolest guy I know, were I lucky enough to make his acquaintance.

The 2015 Royals:  A lot shittier starting pitching, better hitting.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Finnegan(sent to minors 2day) went 2.2 and Herrera( on 6 gm suspension now) went 1.0 yday and they both couldn't pitch for next several days anyway.   So everyone in the Pen today could pitch with exception of Young.   Morales wont be available 2mrw at Det.   Have to see who finishes this game whether we have 6 or just 5 guys in the Pen' that could go Fri.

His point was, he isn't closing. You close in the 9th.

My favorite Hoch memory was the 88 pitch complete game. 88 pitches usually gets our starter thru 4 innings nowadays.

Well, he switched roles. Alex Gordon was almost as losery when he was at 3rd base.
