Was in KC today. Liked how the fountains are blue. That sort of thing makes a visitor smile and fist pump

I mean, its at least like 15% relevant. He'll be on like 11 days rest. I think we will win Game 1.

A three run walk-off homer in the 9th the win the pennant. Nice.

Anyway, are the Giants any better than the Angels or Orioles? I think we'll be favored, which makes me a little worried, but only a little.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

The Giants are good. Orioles were without some key players, Angels looked like old grandpas.

Royals in 6.

We beat Lester with James. We beat Weaver with freaking Vargas. Bumgardner is very good, but he's no better than Lester IMO. We'll be fine.

It's infuriating that KC fans are trying to bring back that bandwagon fan jackass, Sung Woo or whatever. Is he even from the KC area? Doubt it.

vargas has pitched 100x better than james' sorry ass.   vargas has allowed 5 hits in 2 starts.  shields has allowed 10, 6, and 5 hits in his 3 starts and has a 5.63 era this postseason.

Well guess what? He'll start game 3 in San Fran against a lineup with more lefties than Baltimore, so his performance is encouraging.

Did some research, giants don't hit homeruns, don't steal bases, don't get a lot of hits.  I think we will be fine.

we stole like 7 bases against them one game this year.  but it was a backup catcher.  swept the crap out of them too.

I think shields pitched a nine inning shutout againts them as well.  But i do feel like shields has been getting hit really hard as of late.

that is so god damn irrelevant.  the giants already beat the nats who were the favorite by many to win the WS and they've won 15 of 17 postseason games.

we have a great chance to win the series though as long as our offense doesn't play like it did in the last two games b/c that was pathetic.  if moose reverts back to his old form (he was 0-7 in our last 2 games), and salvy continues to suck, and gordon continues to semi-suck, then we're probably mumped.

Big rough ridin' deal.  The royals already beatswept the team with the best record in baseball and have won 8 of 8 postseason games. 1.000>.882
