Who should be the centerpiece of a story about Royals fans then? SWL is a unique story, and he's just a loveable goof. Story's like mine, or most people on this board are fairly dime a dozen.

Thanks! I'm not saying I hate this guy, but it doesn't make me feel all warm and cozy inside following his story. I also don't think that makes me a bad person either.

I don't think it had much to do with winning and losing, but Sun Woo's story is a significant part of the Royals' story this season. Its extremely unique and I think its cool he'll be coming back for the WS. Sure, there are various Royals fans dealing with difficulty, disease, etc., but that doesn't take away from Sung Woo and it shouldn't.
