Tigers never threw it over to 3rd base. Souldn't it be a dead ball with 2 outs?

What happened, all they are showing is the salvy run and not what happened on the field

Salvy didn't tag up after the line out.

I hope Ned's at least smart enough to say the game is being played under appeal until there's a clarification

Regardless, how does Salvy not recognize the need to tag. That's crazy.

But did the appeal come before the replay challenge which can't take place once the pitcher is on the mound and batter in the box?

I don't think that comes into play on an appeal does it?  I mean you have to have a process to appeal. Someone just pointed to a replay rule that replay can't be used to judge if a player left a bag early on a tag....

Idk, that's why I think the Royals need to appeal the game. Worst thing that can happen is league saying nothing was wrong.

eff baseball.  what a stupid game.

i'm starting to think baseball should be against the law.  it offers no redeeming value to society.

No reason to protest:

Timing of Manager Challenges and Crew Chief Reviews.
Except as otherwise set forth in Sections II.D.2-4 below, to be timely, a Manager must exercise his challenge (by verbal communication to the appropriate Umpire), or the Crew Chief must initiate Replay Review (if applicable pursuant to Section II.C above) before the commencement of the next play or pitch. Such challenge or request will be considered timely only if the Umpire acknowledges that communication within the time period specified above. For purposes of these Regulations, the next "play" shall commence when the pitcher is on the rubber preparing to start his delivery and the batter has entered the batter's box (unless the defensive team initiates an appeal play in which case any call made during the play prior to the appeal still may be subject to Replay Review).

We could all be doing productive things with our lives instead of watching stupid baseball. What were we thinking? Let's all go be billionaires instead.
