No other umpire was going to reverse call. He reversed the call based on big screen. eff that. Play under protest.

a) We didn't protest in time....we would have never won it anyways but the whole crew needs to be taken off games.

b) we shouldn't be putting obvious losing replays on our video board.

@Ken_Rosenthal: From MLB: Play was not reviewable. The on-field umpire was told that the play was not reviewable. He was given no additional information.

I mean, that completely changes the way Ned pitches the next inning.

Crew chief should know if it was reviewable, it wasn't. So the appeal play was done and the call was made. End of story.

how anyone could say something positive about gordon when he has completely disappeared during the most important part of the season is beyond me. he doesn't have a single hit in our last 5 games against detroit and is 9-55 this month.
