good game, nice effort, Holland.

he got 3 outs. this is on spin class at this point

huh? 2 runs? 2 outs?

Billy's error was the 3rd out moron

Then how did they score 2 runs? I don't give five fucks about Billy's error. If you, as a closer with Holland's stuff, cannot strike one of the next two batters out, you can get mumped.

Holland, the second best RP the Royals have.

Then you're an idiot. Billy's error was the difference. I'm surprised you don't understand that.

Agreed.  An infield grounder should be equal to a strikeout.

I understand that it would have ended the inning. The inning didn't end, though. I'm not giving Holland a pass for not being able to bear down and not allow the runs though.

I'm just pissed we lost. I also like Wade a lot better than Greg. That's all.

Or more like a realist knowing that this joke of a franchise can never get it done.  They could have a 20 game lead with a month left and still blow it.  It's just not worth it caring, they will never get it done.

The crazy thing is even with how awful the Royals have been and 3 extra inning losses, we're still tied for 1st.

Cleveland's game at Kansas City has been suspended due to rain with the Indians leading 4-2 heading into the bottom of the 10th inning.

The game will resume on Sept. 22 in Cleveland before the start of a three-game series between the AL Central rivals.

WC08 you've said several times you can't watch baseball without getting drunk. Its obvious you are a football fan 1st. That's totally cool. I'm not a hockey fan, so I don't post in the NHL thread. Please don't post in here.

Great news for the Royals. Will have the advantage of not having to play in front of 30,000 Royals fans, which evidently is too much for them to handle.

Yes. Tomorrow will probably be another big crowd, but hopefully only 20K or less show up Tuesday and Wednesday so we have a chance. I mean, it even carried over from the hitters to Holland tonight. It's an epidemic.

Keeps our half-game lead for now, tho!  :Woot:
