WC08 you've said several times you can't watch baseball without getting drunk. Its obvious you are a football fan 1st. That's totally cool. I'm not a hockey fan, so I don't post in the NHL thread. Please don't post in here.

So when we resume this game do we have to use the same roster we were using tonight?
How us that even possible? What if 4 position players and whoever was left in the pen all come down with Ebola?Gonna win 'em all!
So it's only on paper. (Which is just like it was last night.) we don't have to trot the same players out there, we can substitute. Gonna win 'em all!
Hosmer rejoins KC along with four September callupsKANSAS CITY -- Eric Hosmer is back. The Royals recalled Hosmer, their regular first baseman, from his injury rehabilitation assignment with Triple-A Omaha on Monday after just two games with the Storm Chasers. He went 3-for-10 with a home run and three RBIs.Hosmer last played with the Royals on July 31.The Royals also brought up outfielder Carlos Peguero, infielder Johnny Giavotella, catcher Francisco Pena and pitcher Casey Coleman from Omaha. On Sunday, the Royals announced that pitcher Brandon Finnegan and outfielders Lane Adams and Terrance Gore were being promoted from Double-A Northwest Arkansas.Peguero and Finnegan were added to the 40-man roster, and to make room, pitchers Chris Dwyer and Blake Wood were designated for assignment.Scheduled to return Tuesday from Northwest Arkansas are pitchers Aaron Crow and Liam Hendriks and infielder Christian Colon. The Royals also announced the addition of Chris DeLucia, the team's Minor League medical coordinator, as an additional trainer through Sept. 13.
Yost: Fans for Indians series were 'unbelievable'KANSAS CITY -- Sunday night's game that drew 39,009 fans was the third sellout of the season at Kauffman Stadium. The other sellouts were for the home opener against the White Sox on April 4 (40,103) and the June 20 game against the Mariners (38,475).The Royals lost both those games. And they also lost the first two games of the Indians series in front of crowds of 31,341 and 35,089. So manager Ned Yost was hoping for a better showing on Sunday night, but the game was suspended because of rain in the 10th inning with the Indians leading, 4-2."The crowds were phenomenal. Being happy can't even explain the way that I felt about our fans these three games," Yost said. "It was unbelievable."
So Cleveland split this 4 game series with Detroit I guess is what we are cheering for?
Quote from: Phil Titola on September 01, 2014, 03:28:50 PMSo Cleveland split this 4 game series with Detroit I guess is what we are cheering for? A split would be good or the Indians taking 3 of 4 would also be good. That would help us IF the Royals can sweep Texas.
