True reports from 136 row A:

Rusty Kuntz = stud. He adjusts outfield position for every batter. In the 9th I told him "don't worry about adjusting, Holland will strike out the side" he just grinned with double crossed fingers.

Salvy = Stud. I told him "Hey Salvy, hit a homerun tuesday!" He gave me a nod and a thumbs up.

Yordano = Complete adorbs. i was on full on boner watch.

Slimz = Best dressed guy at the K, and its not ever close. Ebbets Field 1915 KC Packers Federal league hat, no undershirt plad oxford, deck shoes no socks, classy as all get out watch on the wrist, i mean, my word what a good looking dude.

Billy = Not really appreciative of me calling him "spin class" but hey, he also was voted LMVP of the AL today on ESPN.com so he can shut it.

Ned = stays at the other end of the dugout. Freaking loser. Get a life.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

48-46 feels a lot better than 47-47. Neither one is far off from the 50-44 I was hoping for.  rough ridin' Tigers and their 1-run games.

must've been stud day at the k or something

Stud/boss day. Everytime I turned around, there was another stud/boss move in my face.

* CF3's vintage 1985 worldchamps ballcap. The guy personifies #BeRoyal. I mean, look at that fistpump.

* oscar nodding our way every time CF3 shouted encouragement at him.

* Aforementioned Rusty Kuntz interactions (Rusty's hair dye though, not so stud/boss).

* Billy scanning the crowd as he stood on first base, trying to spot who had discovered his new workout regimen.

* Everytime my rowmates would catch a shirt or a ball, they'd toss it to some little tyke and make their day.

* Miggy and Salvy bantering throughout the game while Miggy was playing first and Salvy was in the dugout. And then faking each other out when Salvy was on first.  :D I think they may be best buds IRL.

* Dyson pulling Miggy's shirt out just before stealing second base.

* Not getting killed by a line drive.

* Quintessential Royals' small-ball rally, including an infield single and a groundout RBI.

A++++ experience, would buy again. Thanks, CF3 and O-town Kat!

I think its time we settle into reality. Tigers are not looking back, but we are good enough to get a WC spot. You're telling me we're not as good as last year's Indians and Rays? I think we are, and we'll be in it to the last week of the season. should be fun.

best seats in there imo, even better than Crown, because of how interactive it all is.

Agreed. That said, it will be very interesting to see what moves the contenders make before the non-waiver trade deadline. A good move here and there could change the complexion of the race. As I've said before, we need a bit of power...but that will come at the cost of pitching. Stand pat? Go with what we have? Hope that Billy's bat speed improves? Hos needs to stay hot. And the pitching staff needs to stay healthy. Go Royals.

I don't think we move anyone. We can't get anyone of value, that we need, without giving up an integral piece of what we have now. It doesn't make sense. Plate discipline from our knuckleheads will improve things immensely,  look at Homer over the past 13 games.

Gomes is making $5 million in the second season of a two-year, $10 million deal, but at age 33 he’s struggled at the plate by hitting just .234 with five homers and a .680 OPS in 67 games. By comparison, Gomes posted a .771 OPS in 2013 and an .868 OPS in 2012, but he has continued to knock around left-handed pitching.

Yeah, seems like something we'd do.

Pretty obvious the message we're sending out is "we need a bat, however, we don't want to give up anyone good." So unless we decide we're willing to part with someone we'll actually miss, Gomes is probably the best we could get.
