for the record, i'm pretty meh about this, but at least they're trying i guess
I always like new players joining the Royals, especially when it means sending Justin Maxwell/Pedro Ciriaco to the minors. So I guess you could say that I am a little bit excite

You guys, who's Raul Ibanez?
But I bet his slugging % is super high tho, right? (slugging % is a super high baseball IQ term. Only a few people in this thread will even know what I'm talking about)
His slug % is .265, .200 below his career average. To be honest I'm not sure what role they expect him to have. I guess LH pinch hitter?
Ibanez will come in and be Royal for the rest of this season, just like Maxwell did last year. Then we will give him an extension after the season is over and he will join Maxwell in Stinktown, USA, population 2.
