Its a no lose situation. We're not giving anything up. Might as well give it a shot.

I always like new players joining the Royals, especially when it means sending Justin Maxwell/Pedro Ciriaco to the minors.  So I guess you could say that I am a little bit excite

You guys, who's Raul Ibanez?

former royal (and yankee and mariner and angel and...)

he hit more homers than anyone on our roster last year. by like a lot.

was only hitting .170 when cut earlier this year by the angels.
"I started calling him John during the game, cause he was rocking it like No. 7 -- like Elway," Harper said."

But I bet his slugging % is super high tho, right? (slugging % is a super high baseball IQ term. Only a few people in this thread will even know what I'm talking about)

Why is Hosmer so herky-jerky? It seems like there are way too many moving parts and things that need to be timed perfectly for him to be successful.  Sucks, because his mammoth home runs from time to time show he has monster power.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

His slug % is .265, .200 below his career average. To be honest I'm not sure what role they expect him to have. I guess LH pinch hitter?

Ibanez will come in and be Royal for the rest of this season, just like Maxwell did last year. Then we will give him an extension after the season is over and he will join Maxwell in Stinktown, USA, population 2.
