Why in the world would kc shut down ventura or duffy? If it were me i would trade any of coleman/herrera/hoch +  lo cain/dyson or aoki to get a stud reliever and a platoon middle infielder. That would make one hell of a team but herrera would be tough to let go of based on potential
Don't worry mocat, I'll take this one:

WHY WOULD THEY TRADE FOR A STUD RELIEVER WHEN THEY'RE BULLPEN IS ALREADY INCREDS LOL YOU IDIOT

"If i worked for the NY times, and my boss told me 'hey. if you keep ranking ksu so high, we may fire you' i would tell my boss to 'bring it on.'"  -FFF

http://www.royalsreview.com/2014/6/18/5820854/royals-interested-in-pitcher-jeff-samardzija

I'm afraid if we were to trade for a starter, Ventura or Duffy would be part of the package. I dunno guys I kinda wanna see where we can go with this rotation. My heart says it wants Yordano and Danny to be in KC for a long time, also, my head says that too. What do you guys think?

in what world does it make any sense to trade an excellent young starting pitcher for an excellent starting pitcher?

FWIW, mike macfarlane said before the season that Yo (that's what the players call him!) is 100% on an innings limit.

Innings limit via McCollough:

Ventura: 180-200
Duffy: 150

BID if they shut one of them down in a pennant race in September.

Just saw someone wearing a rockies shirt. What is this, amateur hour? Get your crap together pal. This is Kansas city, land of champions. Act like it.

You're aware Vargas is in the rotation right now, right?
