How did none of the Killer Bs get in? HOF voting is so rough ridin' dumb.

I agree KSU-K, Biggio not being in is bullshit.

Very few guys are voted in that quickly.   The biggest travesty was Jack Morris getting scorned again.   Dude was as nails I'm the post season as anyone.  Ever.

I'm ready too guys, and the longer Santana sits without a signed contract the more hope I have of him being a Royal.

Once Taka(sp?) signs all the pitching cards will fall. I don't have much hope. BUT IF IT HAPPENS... :lynchmob:

Hmm... Never really having seen him pitch, I don't get the travesty part. His numbers are good but not great, post season, regular season, whatever.

Best case:

1. Shields
2. Santana
3. Vargas
4. Duffy
5. Ventura
6. Guthrie
7. Davis

Likely case:

1. Shields
2. Vargas
3. Guthrie
4. Davis
5. Duffy
6. Ventura (to replace Davis when he blows up or Duffy when he blows out)

We should have a countdown to when pitchers and catchers report.   Less than five weeks.

Guthrie's contract was restructured this morning, freeing up $3m in 2014.  That's interesting.

The $3m isn't going to do much, but...

David Lesky ?@DBLesky 57m
$3 million off Guthrie's deal, $10 million in Hoch and Davis, $3 million in Bonifacio. That's $16 million, aka the cost of a FA starter.

who is going to take those 3 off our hands? or are we redoing their deals?

just a hypothetical.  Doesn't seem like they would just re-do JGut's deal to save $3m.  I think there is another move(s) coming.
