Left elbow impingement. Yo had same thing in 2014 and missed 1 start. So maybe we get fortunate and Duffy misses only 1start. With off day Thursday, he could be activated next Saturday.  His DL 10 day would run Wednesday thru next Friday

hammel is like the best pitcher in the world for 4-5 innings and instantly sucks after that.  maybe they should think about whether using him as a starter is his highest and best use.

We gave up 1 over 7.0 (Junis start)
We had a Perfecto thru 5.1

Are we really gonna go 1-2 in these.

I've been very critical of Hammel all year on this.
Even if you take him out after the Encarncion HR, it's 3-0.

Doesn't really matter when u score 0.  We have wasted 2 pretty good pitching performances in 3 days. And truthfully Vargie pitched decent outside of the Gordo dropped flyout in deep LF

25 scoreless innings.  MLB worst in 2017.
3 runs in our 8 losses to Cleveland.

I freaking can't believe we are 10-17 since getting the Melk Man. Melky has about an 810 ops, so hats off to him

I'm hopeful for a 21-13 finish to get us to 85-77.
22 games vs Minn/ChiSox//Det/Tor.  Last 3 games of season vs AZ. Hopefully they have WC bid tapped up by last weekend.

As much as I hate to say it, Cleveland isn't going to collapse. The Division title is unrealistic at this point, IMHO. The Wild Card is realistic...we seem to hang around no matter what. Hanging around won't cut it, though. The Royals need to shake the crap off and get going.
