Good news is Yordano went 7 innings and only gave up three runs. Pounders and Flynn have looked solid too.

Great news would have been Ventura goes 7 gives up 1 (what really should have happened).  And we won another 1 run game 2-1

We stole one last night. Gave it back tonight.

What's happening guys?  My phone told me the game started hours ago but I haven't kept up

Salvy hit a HR in the 9th for a walk off.... oh wait no... we gave them 2 runs with shitty defense in the 6th, Salvy HRs and we lose 3-2

he did give up hits to the next two batters after the runs scored.

Guy at 3rd made a bad read.  He got lucky it worked for him because Salvy rushed an easy throw or he is out by a mile.  Inning should have been over right there.

We didn't make them pay for a poor read at 3rd base.  On top of that they scored 2 runs on the play not just 1.

Cmon Sys. If Hos boots a ball on a grounder there and 2 runs score instead of easy out #3... You are calling his ass out

I'm not calling Salvy out because this is rare, but we gave the game away with that 2 run error

i didn't realize the passed ball/wild pitch was part of the correct course of the events.

the play was not as easy as you are making it sound.  50/50 at best.  the error was for allowing the second runner to score, not both.

if you expect ventura to toss 7 innings of 1 run ball on the regular then you are going to be perpetually disappointed.

I'm watching the replay as i type this.  Runner is 35-38 feet away when Salvy starts his flip ( you want me to text you the pic).  Salvy is 10 feet from Ace.  Good throw, he's out EASiLY

I know occasionally when a 1st baseman throws to a pitcher covering 1st, he throws it by the pitcher. That's pretty rare tho.

Royals have lived off of teams making bad mistakes at the K ( last night Paxton underhanding to 1st). The read by the dude at 3rd was not good.  He got lucky because we couldn't execute a 10 foot throw and tag.

This and the Omar error at Clev are 2 big time mistakes that cost us Wins.  Bad errors on easy plays

This cost us a chance at a win, but we were at best tied , if you ignore these hits after

From July 2015- til late April 2016... Ventura went 6.0 or more and gave up 0 or 1 ER in 9 of 18 Regular season starts.   It's not like he isn't capable of having a solid outing.

8man.... we threw away the game in the 6th.  Inning is over, 1-1 tie after 6. Its hard to overcome 2 freebie runs allowed.  Do we win 100% win if that doesn't happen?  No, but we 100% lost by 1 after the 2 gift runs.   We won 4-3 on Thur after 2 gift runs because of no DP by pitcher in 8th.
