Gorden is 5 for 8 in the series, 1 HR, 2 RBIs, and 3 runs.  Oh, and he's playing near Gold Glove defense.  Dude rough ridin' sucks though.

Good win tonight. Nice when a starter can go 7 innings.

Now it's 2 in a row.  Little bittersweet for me.  Love watching the Twins win but it sucks it's at the expense of the Royals.

The 2nd worst team in the AL just gets bent by the worst team in the AL in 4 straight . . . looks like the Royals are back.

I've seen (from several different sources) that Bubba is considered to be the best overall athlete in the draft.  Hopefully he turns out to be a good one, that certainly helps with attendence.  (Oh, winning also helps with that.)

crap ton of info about the Royals' farm system in this week's USA Sports Weekly.  In the 22 yrs Baseball America has compilied an annual top 100 prospects list, no team has every placed 9 in the top 100 or 5 in the top 20 until this year's Royals.  The great thing all this depth creates is trade possibilities.  Clint Robinson doesn't have a spot on the big league club but would be very nice to package in a trade for some veteren talent, etc.

Moose will struggle like most do when they are brought up, but will improve as season goes on.  We are spoiled with how well Hosmer has been doing.  Heard Moose's defense is  :blindfold: but no worse than Aviles.

The difference with this time from the previous times we've all heard this is instead of a couple guys who reach the majors all at different times there are a number of top end prospects and a ton of secondary prospects who all are hitting the majors at about the same time. With guy like Mosse, Duffy, Hosmer, Collins, Crow, et. all arriving this year and guys like Montgomery, Myers, Odorizzi,Colon, etc, expected to arrive in the next couple of years the Royals have a Tampa Bay like core coming up together. That should give the team about 4-5 years to field a winning team before decisions have to be made about who to keep and who to let go.
