I think its somewhat fair to say that Joe Pos was once the D Scott of the Roys.

Anyway, this is enjoyable: http://sportsworld.nbcsports.com/posnanski-royals-win-world-series/

Guys, what a gritty gutsy performance my Volquez.  Hasn't been talked about enough.

Yes it was. Eddy, CY, And Moose all loosing parents this season makes seeing them celebrate even sweeter.

We should be really good next year, too. Dayton has assembled a monster.

i still can't believe that many people own fireworks

In the middle of Wornall at 74th, a dude was just launching motars out of a mortar launcher thing. Like he'd launch one, walk away, launch one, walk away, repeat for like 45 minutes. Cops were like "man that was a good one" each time
KC showed what a great city it is last night.

Is that math right?  1 in 34.7m?  I want to use that stat for conversation piece.

The math is right, but it's only an accurate figure if you believe in Fangraphs' ability to place an accurate win % in the first place.

the math is nothing close to correct.  even mocat would get closer.

Guys, the flight home last night was hella fun! everyone had their ipads out just watching the crap out of the game. there was one Mets fan on the flight, lol! He yelled "go mets" a few times, then like got locked in the bathroom or something (not really, but could you imagine?!)

after we won I bought the rows around me a round of beers, because Royals!!!! Then as soon as we landed went to westport to party.

ALSO! The brewery will be open starting at noon tomorrow, not right on the parade route, but only two blocks away! Come have a few when you're done watching your fave baseball team drive by!

Hotels are selling out all over the city....this is a regional party. Come one come all....tomorrow everyone is equal as far as royals fandom.

What a great time to be a KC resident....probably as great as when we rallied as a city to build the Liberty memorial.

I'm taking my kids. We're just going to take the bus around 8 AM and find a spot. If they whine or are fussy I don't care. Its the world series parade.

I want to take my 11 month old, but seems like it would be a giant pain in the ass.  I might wait next year when he is a year older.

That's fine. I'll load up the stroller and get out wherever they drop my Royal ass and walk. I'm suspending all candy intake regulations for the entirety of the parade. Another bag of fun sized skittles? Eat that crap. More lemon tootsie rolls? Enjoy it son

Free buses should help. Parking concerns are a great problem to have
