Lawrence, KS gets tons of out of state students, so maybe it was Mets fans that left a trail of destruction on campus? Unlikely, but possible

Need some guidance. Is it too bandwagon to come to the parade tomorrow dressed in championship (2015) gear? Is older stuff the way to go?

Do what you want, just enjoy it.

Yep. Old gear, new gear, or eff it, wear that Carlos Febles t-shirt you thought you gave to Goodwill years ago. Doesn't matter, it's the Kansas City Royals World rough ridin' Championship parade.

Is it technically child endangerment to attempt to take kids to this parade tomorrow?  I am leaning toward yes.

So this parade, you won't be able to get within 5 miles of this thing, right?  I mean, I bet a million people try and go down there.

If you office is on the route...

I tend to lean towards child abuse to not take them, but I don't have kids so :dunno:

I'm bringing my entire litter. They're going be fiving total strangers under my close supervision.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

just go this email from my boss:

The parade will get within a few blocks of our office.  Since it may not happen again for 30 years, you might want to go.

My kids school just cancelled school for tomorrow so all the kids and teachers could go.

:dunno:

It may feel more like when you find yourself at the zoo on a field trip day.

I'm in that predicament.  4.5 year old and 9 month old.  I want to go, do not want to take them.  would feel sorta bad not taking the 4 year old but I think she'd be whiny and cranky

I would get the kids a sitter. You don't want them ruining this event for you.

Don't take them but as they grow up talk about that time that the Royals won the WS and they went to the parade....they will think they went.

All Johnson County schools are officially off tomorrow.  The crowd for the parade is going to be nuts.
