I get that he's being honest but he's not helping himself by saying it out loud. I wonder what the stats are on players who get traded before the deadline, but are going to be free agents next year and in line for massive contracts. Like, do they typically do shitty and maybe it's not a good idea to go after them, or is there usually no drop in production but Cueto is an exception?
