Looks like Guts is next.

let's just skip straight to chamberlain and end the suspense.

ok, keeping the suspense going was probably a good move.

Can we all agree that Franklin morales shouldn't even sniff the postseason roster?

i can't remember how many relievers we need and how many we have anymore.  but unless we have to, there's no reason to have him on the roster.

the problem is they only really have 2 or 3 good relievers anymore.  and zero good defenses.

1) Crappy starting pitching.... Check
2) suspect Defense. Plus unearned run.....check
3) Ned making ANOTHER bad call in Sept, bringing in our Reliever struggling the most....check
4) royals fans getting excited after  3 run rally....check
5) The bullpen quickly making the K quiet again, allowing 3 runs.....check

Ok, so that leaves....
6) Royals lose again to a team that sold off starters cause they were out of the race.....check
7) Royals fall back to 2 seed after losing 12 of last 18 to crappy division foes.....check
8) posse drinks a few Long Isand Iced Teas and doesn't give a crap for the rest of the night...check
9) gE board realizing Posse continues to lose his mind, but at the same time knows he is partly right..check

It will all be new again in the playoffs. Every game will matter. I will get upset if we lose those games, but I'm not going to right now. Even if we don't get HFA. This is still an incredibly fun season.

You are right.  It's just that the last few weeks have been so blah and outright bad at times.  Perspective of the whole season is sometimes forgotten.

after the 4th, i figured we had it. Morales was bad, no argument. hope we get one tomorrow.

also, I caught a ball hit by Lorenzo and gave it to my boy (age 5) and held him up while he held the ball over his head and our section cheered for him. one of the best moments I've ever had at the K. when we got home he put it on his shelf and said "Dad, this is the first one, but I'm starting a Royals ball collection". Was great.
