And I'm someone who gets disappointed by having too high expectations often. I thought they would (and they may still) tear through the fall into the playoffs.  This last few games and a few interspersed the last few weeks have gotten to me.

i really wish they'd act like they almost care about the win/loss columns right now.

It's like the only people that care about getting to 100 wins are the fans.

Where the hell is Holly? He and Ned agree that he needs work or he becomes rusty. That should mean pitching him every 2 or 3 days even if it's not a save situation...and even if we're behind. Pitch this guy with some regularity even if it's not a save sitch. And is Ned about to make the same type of mistake with Wade?

Most teams start to rest the starters with a couple of weeks left in the regular season. We're not there yet.

i'm pretty confident the plan is to reverse that schedule - rest everyone at the start of september, then rev up with a couple of weeks to go - trying to hit it so everyone is rested but hitting the playoffs in rhythm.

we should play our good players more and our bad players less imo

line drive to the wall and the defender was right there to pick it up.  it was a quick play, the ball wasn't in the air for a long time.  it was crazy to send him - if orlando can't get to third on that hit, moose sure as hell isn't going to be scoring from first (i do kinda wonder if orlando should have kept going to third when he saw moose going home.  the cutoff guy maybe decides to make the play at third then, and orlando just has to not get tagged till moose scores.  not that orlando is at fault.  obviously, down four, neither should have been sent).

Joba was perfect for the Tigers. Also would be good on the White Sox or A's or other gross teams. I want him gone yesterday.

Anyone else encounter Wille Mays Aikens out in the parking lot?  Kind of a weird deal, he walks around selling his books, autographed cards and balls.

Yes. We need to implement some royals way standards... And home made sleeveless shirts are a definite NO
