bringing him in was just giving up. they were only down three. they did the same thing the other day when they were down two (iirc). it's pretty annoying. winning isn't vital here, but it's not irrelevant.

Royals had a pretty average September last year too. Playoffs are weird. I don't like what I'm seeing, at all, but I'm not convinced it means much in October

But this year they have rarely looked average. That's the frustrating part for me.

About to post this same thought....check out September 2014. Might they bow out like the angels did... Sure... But this stretch right here isn't a predictor of playoff success.

yep, that's the only thing i don't like. actually the b team would be fine. they're skipping right to the d team.
