I know he had a book and movie about him, but his teams have never won so much as an ALCS game. He isn't even the best GM in the Bay Area.

Didn't realize that, but still would take Mozeliak, Dombrowski and maybe Hoyer over Beane. Beane changed the way people think about the game and building a team, I just think he's been caught up to and passed as a GM. Honorable Mention for Amaro Jr.
