I thought we would HDH too.  I knew there was a chance he may not pitch Holland today for the 3rd straight day, but he hasn't thrown a lot of pitches this series

gordon is at the point where his defense is overrated.  he's losing speed at the rate that billy butler lost the ability to hit.

Nice thing with Infante and Rios getting on base, is Esky and Moose have been on fire with RISP.
Infante on base 18 times, scored 10 times. Rios on base 13 times, scored 7. Last 13 games for both.

Yet somehow when they got the lead I figured they were going to just close them out.

no.  he's still good, but people act like he's great.  he's getting old and slowing down.  the royals should keep that in mind when contract talks come around.
