I am very concerned about the next month.  This will be a very difficult stretch.

Yeah, I really don't worry about the schedule in baseball. If you have a good team then you should pretty much win games all season long, outside of a short little skid or two.

Exactly...I mean we're the kings of this league right now...enjoy it, don't freak out about anybody at this point.

watching the detroit-cws game - it may be a good thing the royals don't have any "ace" pitchers.  if they did, yost would probably do the same thing every other brain dead manager does and leave them in too long, entirely negating the advantage you gain by having a better pitcher through the first 6-7 innings.

i'm now entirely against trading for any pitchers that anyone thinks are any good.

no errors in this inning, but dyson and gordon have gifted the a's these runs.

i can buy that one of the two of them lost it in the sun.  but since they had different angles on it, at least one of them should have been able to see it just fine.

It seemed like Gordon could see it, but expected Escobar to catch it. It is definitely possible for neither of them to be able to see it though, a guy on my team years back hit a home run but not a single person saw the ball, not even the umpires. So it was called foul but the ball was found over the fence 15 feet fair. It was very weird.

Just strange for both of those two to have the ball drop.
Now we need some offensive support.

that's what i thought too, esky lost it and gordon pulled off early assuming esky had it.  also esky didn't ask for help, so gordon didn't even realize esky wasn't on it until it hit the ground.
