Yeah that sounds like something Wade would do with a base open. Of course, he screwed that up too. Count was 3-1 after Kipnis Stole, and Wade threw a strike the next pitch. WTF was he doing. Throw a ball dude.... 1st base is open.

Plate discipline is killing our entire team. Everyone wants to swing to get a hit instead of just getting on base any way possible. That is the big difference between beginning of season and now. Patience made the pitchers throw balls worth hitting.

This was a big problem last year on offense and after 6 weeks of being corrected, appears to be resurfacing
