I was worried about Duffy and Hosmer and Infante going into the game today

The 2015 Royals already have a better run differential (+34) than the 2014 Royals (+27).

Run the bases after the game!

Royals bullpen been nothing less than stellar 7 games in. 19 Inn 0 ERs 7 Hits is stellar.  But Royals pitching in general has been very solid.  We have only allowed 18 runs and our Opp. have only gotten 24 ABs with runners in scoring position.  To compare KC has 83 ABs with runners in scoring position

One thing that's interesting: You hear the Royals described as a young team. This isn't true. According to ESPN Stats & Information research, the Royals actually had the second-oldest average age on Opening Day rosters at 30 years, 100 days (the Giants at 31 years, 100 days were by far the oldest).

Skewed by a few super-old dudes like Ibanez. What they (the core of the team) really are this season more so than last is a bunch of guys right in the prime, or entering the prime of their careers.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Meh. The core of the position players are young. Sal/Moose/Hos/Alcedes/Colon, also Duffy and Yordano. Cain and Gordon should still be in their primes. Old guys like Frasor and Guts and Rios skew the average, but they aren't core players and won't be here long term.

Ibanez is no longer on the team.

There are more guys 34 or older (six) than guys 24 or younger (two) on the active roster. Most of the middle relievers are old.

It's either that or just play Orlando in right.
