starting vargas game 2 at camden instead of game 3 kauffman wouldn't just be stupid, it would be insane.  it would be about 9000x stupider than putting in ventura with two on was.

I would like to see Yordano in Game 2 but I would not throw a huge fit if it was Vargas. Vargas has an atrocious ERA at Kauffman, DESPITE throwing a CG shutout there this year

yeah. i'm not sure how you don't just go shields and then ventura, but it sounds like we just might do it. that would mean that ventura wouldn't pitch again until game 7, if there even is a game seven. that doesn't make sense.

He went to McFadden's last night and immediately put his card down at the bar and said "No one buys a drink for the next hour".

TMZ reported that his tab was north of 20 grand and that he was just handing full bottles of Dom Perignon to strangers.

Monday's game 3 at the K will be a night game for sure. There's no NL game that day (unless rainout).

We left the P and L area during the 7th. We were exhausted from the longest sports week of all time. Sorry, Hos!  :frown:

Would be the same weekend as the CTR.

Calculated win % by using the methods outlined here, although adjusted for offenses and including relievers.

The fact that MH was at the K last night makes me happy. A bit jealous, but more happy. No one who's been to any of these post-season games at the K will ever forget it. Top 5 sports/ life moments for most probably.

It was great, really a lot of fun, but it was nowhere near a top 5 life moment.

Increase chance of winning series by 8% using my rotation. Shields pitches on 3 days rest but no one else does.

Give Finnegan his first start. I'm not bothering to look it up, but it's likely that none of the Orioles' staff have faced him before.

Man that ain't no joke....I was wasted today at work.  From the playoff clinching win 2 Fridays ago till yesterday....this has been one hell of a week plus....and every game awesome.  I'm pretty excited about there not being a sport I can about until Friday.....and so is my liver.  No way I would have made the Hosmer late night happy hour....

Last night was a 4 hour party with 40k of my closest bros.  What a blast.  The rain made it an even cooler memory.  Lets do that again, say next Tuesday????  Heck I'll be realistic....Wednesday!!!!

I wouldn't do it twice, but it can be done.

Quote
ST. LOUIS - For the second year in a row, the Los Angeles Dodgers will bring ace Clayton Kershaw back on three days' rest to pitch Game 4 of the National League Division Series, manager Don Mattingly announced Monday.

Mattingly, who revealed the decision before Game 3, made it sound like an easy call.

"He's our best guy," Mattingly said.

I know Shields ain't Kershaw, but if anyone on the staff could go on 3 days rest, its James.
