Any EMAW studs going to the K tonight. Alex Smith will throw out the first pitch. Please boo him and let him know he is not welcome at the K or frankly in the city or surrounding areas.

Alex Smith in a Royals jersey is just so cool. I love whenever the local teams be friends.

i can't even tell if moose definitely sucks or might be a mlb average player someday and he's had like 1500 at bats.  so i can hardly opine about draft picks.  also i thought it was great when they picked that nu outfielder from kc that sucks (maybe).

moose will be out of baseball before he's 30.

Is boo the new word for bear hug? If so, then yes.

wow, this guy

http://m.mlb.com/kc/video/topic/67565098/v33469789/draft-2014-royals-draft-lhp-brandon-finnegan-no-17/?c_id=kc

just awful.

You don't like the pick?   I've read numerous final mock drafts and he was expected to go anywhere from  like 12 to 24.  Several sites said he'd go higher if not for his recent injury.   It's not exactly the most glamorous pick but middle of the first round isn't very sexy to begin with.   At least we shouldn't have to wait too long before we find out if he's any good.

Can we talk about how awesome Alex Gordon has been?
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

He needs to be batting ahead of Butler and Hos imo. It's frustrating that Ned is stubborn about changing the batting order.

I think one of the most frustrating things about Ned is that he tinkers with the order constantly, but then won't make the changes that seem obvious to everyone.

He manages on feel, especially on offense, its not going to make sense to those of us who aren't him.

Guys Gordon is a legit MVP candidate.
